When is the Life & Arts Festival?
Mother’s Day weekend. 2008’s Festival will be held May 9-11.
Is there a cost to the Life & Arts Festival?
There are some ticketed events in the evenings but the majority of the Festival is free due to the support of our generous partners. The Life & Arts Festival does accept donations to help us bring this fantastic family event back to you year after year. Donations can be made at all the gateways at the stages, the Information Booths. There are also opportunities to support our artists at the Artisan Marketplace and Crafters Walkway, so don’t leave your wallets at home!
Where is the Life & Arts Festival?
The Life & Arts Festival is held in the Cultural District in Downtown Kelowna the square block of Water St to Doyle, Doyle to Ellis Street, Ellis Street to Cawston and Cawston back to Water St.
How do I find out what is going on at the Life & Arts Festival?
There will be a published schedule of events closer to the Festival. Keep checking our website for details.
Is parking available nearby the Festival?
Yes, parking will be available on all city streets as usual other and in the Library Parkade located next to the Festival Village.
Are there pay phones at the Festival?
There is a Courtesy phone at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. There are also pay phones inside the Library and also beside the Laurel Packinghouse.
Is there a bank machine at the Festival?
There is a cash machine at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. All major banks are located close to the Festival Village in downtown Kelowna.
Is food available on site?
Food vendors, with snacks, lunches, coffee and other refreshments to suit every taste are located in the Festival Village
