Life & Arts Festival Tips

Festival Site
The Life & Arts Festival is held in the Cultural District in Downtown Kelowna the square block of Water St to Doyle, Doyle to Ellis Street, Ellis Street to Cawston and Cawston back to Water St.

Access
The Life & Arts Festival is open to the public and the site is wheelchair accessible.

Parking
Parking will be available on all city streets as usual other and in the Library Parkade located next to the Festival Village.


On-Site Info
Check out our on-site Medican Information Booths, where our friendly volunteers provide Festival Programs and information. The booths are located in several locations including two in the BMO Festival Village by the Rotary Centre for the Arts and at the end of the Gala Shores Crafters Walkway. Additional Information Booths will be at the entrances to Waterfront Park for the FortisBC Powersense illuminArts Lantern Celebration.

Daily Performance Schedules
There are scheduled shows and roving entertainment on the festival site from 9:00AM to 8:00PM on Friday, 11:00AM to 8:00PM Saturday, and 11:00AM to 5:00PM on Sunday. There are also a variety of ticketed events in the evenings. Find out who is performing where and when by checking back at our website for details as the Festival approaches.

Rain or Shine
The Life & Arts Festival offers shows every day rain or shine. Schedules may be adapted, but no matter the weather the show goes on.

Money
Donations to help the festival are welcome and allow us to continue to produce this festival and to bring in professional and quality artists and performers. Show your support by donating at one of the Donation Boxes at the stages or the information booths. We do encourage you to pack your wallets, as there will be opportunities to purchase items at the Gala Shores Artisan Marketplace and the Crafters Walkway, as well as vendors for food and drinks being on site. There are also ticketed events such as POSH.

Common Sense Rules
We recommend sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and comfortable footwear. Children should be supervised at all times. Please turn off cell-phones while watching shows. Videotaping performances is not permitted.
